'Miss Misery' (by Elliot Smith) (3'12) Total = 26'56" _________________________ Note from http://www.filmtracks.com/titles/good_will.html There are two versions of the Good Will Hunting promotional release. The first promo had no label and was 23 minutes long --it did not include any songs and had mislabeled tracks near the end (or tracks with no titles at all). The Miramax one that is reviewed here has roughly 4 more minutes than the other, and includes the "Miss Misery" song. Track titles are correctly listed on the second promo. Both have very similar cover art. The second (Miramax) promo has "Good Will Hunting" written alone on the side packaging, whereas the first promo (with the mislabeled tracks) has "...by Danny Elfman" on the side next to the title. The official Miramax release includes many more songs by Elliot Smith and only two tracks from Elfman's score: "Main Titles" and "Weepy Donuts." These two selections, however, are the best that the score has to offer, so it would be more economical for most people just to get the song compilation CD.
